Shoulder Release with a Ball

The first step for training the shoulder is to increase mobility and decrease unnecessary tension. This is done by releasing a fascial line from the elbow to the shoulder and around to the back of the shoulder. You will need a pinky ball or similiar ball size and feel. Start by placing the ball at the elbow between the triceps and biceps and lean into a wall. In the beginning of the video, I show you the line where to place the ball and the path to roll it on the body. Once the ball reaches the shoulder, the ball will roll to the back of the shoulder and across the scapula. Reverse the motion of the ball, rolling it back to the elbow. You can do this two times. You may find tender spots along the way, so pause and breath before rolling off the point. Watch the video before trying, I explain nuances with handling of the ball.
