Ribcage Warm Up for Walking
Ribcage mobility is important for all movement, especially for walking. Walking requires that the spine rotate. The rotation is what allows us to move our pelvis and legs. This simple practice, though not easy to do, will show you how well you can freely move the ribcage. It is important to keep your eyes focused forward while rotating. Pick a spot in front of you to look at through out the swinging. Find a nice rhythm between the the arms swinging and the knees pumping up and down.
