Cats on the Roller

Start kneeling with a rounded spine. Arms are straight and palms on top of the roller. As you roll the roller away, lengthen the spine and rotate the arms so that the palms face up. Begin the curl with the pelvis, think of the tail bone curling under and continue to curl into the rounded spine. The palms will rotate inward as you are rolling back. Use the weight of the hands on the roller to create a contrast between the hands and the legs. Breath in as you are moving forward, pause in the length to exhale, take a new breath and exhale as you curl back.
