Biotensegrity Footwork Standing

After you have practiced the Footwork on the Wall, you will do it standing. This is more challenging because of the organization of your body vertically. Sense the whole body in a vertical axis through the spine. Think of the six poles as written in my general blog "Whole Body Connecting Force: A Biotensegrity Model for Movement", the top of your head, your tail, your feet and hands energetically reaching out to create stability in the whole body as your perform the movements. The principles of biotensegrity are also present here similiar to the ones in the previous blog. Jumping softly is more of a challenge standing. Articulate through your feet as you feel the six poles of your body suspended in space. Once you feel you have accomplished these movements slowly, begin to move faster. Have fun, add some music.
