Standing Side Stretch with One Leg Balance

This side movement provides the eccentric (lengthening contractions) and concentric (shorting contractions) of the lateral side of the body. I added a shift of weight onto one leg to strengthen the stable hip. In gait patterning, we need lateral motions of the lumbar spine and the hip strength for standing on one leg for the moment as we transfer our weight from one foot to the other.
